A Warm Inviting Space

Rear Garden Hove, East Sussex

This garden was quite a transformation!

It previously had an old swimming pool which dominated the entire garden and the new owners were keen to create something special.

The design brief was to have a garden they could walk around and have lots of places to sit to enjoy the planting.

The couple wanted to blend modern elements with lots of old pots and urns they have collected over the years.We did this by using Cor-ten steel planters and raised border edges which form the walkways.

A raised Balau deck was constructed to flow out from the rear of the house.The balustrade was torched to give a burnt effect.

The planting is a mixture of shrub and perennials to give a long lasting display.
