The design for this small garden was to maximise space and also to blend in with the kitchen / diner which had just been redesigned and built. It is often the case now that people are opening up their rooms to the outside world, and make the garden into an outdoor room. This busy working couple wanted a very low maintenance garden to be somewhere they could relax and just enjoy being in. We used the same floor tiles as they used inside the house to blend the two spaces. We used Balau timber to make a geo-metric design deck which gives the garden a warmer feel. A seating area was also constructed for the clients to lounge on and also for storage.
